POSSESS ME is coming out in 5 days! So I’ve decided to have yet another contest. (For those wondering about the others, go to www.smutketeers.com where we are celebrating a week of obsession and possession with author friends and prizes)

I wanted to talk a little about the men of POSSESS ME – Celestin Dias Rousseau, Benjamin Adair, and of course-Bone Daddy.
Rousseau is the child of a Portugeuse/Irish mother and a father of Haitian descent. He is a loving son, a protective brother, owner of Cafe Bwe-he is also a man with a monkey on his back. Bone Daddy. Rousseau would have a hard time admitting it, but the Loa never gives him more than his most erotic fantasies. He never gives him less either. When Allegra shows up on the scene, Rousseau knows he’ll have the struggle of his life on his hands. He’s never wanted anyone more, but he refuses to give in, she’s just too damned special to be sucked into his nightmare.
Rousseau’s best friend and Allegra’s partner in crime, Benjamin Adair was born to privilege and inherited power. He, like his mother before him, needs only to touch another to know what they are feeling. It has helped him in business, in pleasure, but its pushed away the woman he’s wanted for his own since they were children. Michelle Toussaint. Mimi. Her ability to see spirits sent her running from New Orleans, from him, long ago. He plays the bad boy well, but inside, he’s always been waiting. For her.
Bone Daddy. What can I say? There isn’t a picture that can capture the features. When Michelle first gets a look at him she comes close. He was almost too beautiful. Short, dark curls framed a sinner’s face. His lashes were long, his lips full and pouty, and his eyes were the color of whiskey in the sun. He was lighter than her brother–”high yellow” was the term her grandmother would have used…
Bethany’s first reaction to seeing him is a little more, well, blunt. “He’s too…pretty, don’t you think? I can’t imagine wanting to date a man that pretty. Ruggedly handsome, yes, even large and adorable–but truly pretty? You’ll always wonder if he’ll like your new lace panties more on you or on himself.” You can see why Bone Daddy might be charmed by her can’t you? *wink*
(PS-if any of you can-from these descriptions-find me a pic of the perfect Bone Daddy…well, there might be something in it for you)
I can’t tell you too much more about him without giving his story away, but I can tell you that Mambo Toussaint, a voodoo priestess and one of The Mamas, was just as in the dark about where he came from as the others.
A Loa, a voodoo spirit, yes, but not completely. A sexual entity who feeds on pleasure, always leaving something to remember him by—if he leaves at all that is. But he’s more than just a sexual being, so much more that he surprised even me. I’m more than a little in love with him.
